Interior Components wins Christchurch contract for seismic joints

Interior Components is pleased to have secured the contract to supply all the seismic jointing systems for the innovative new Justice and Emergency Services Precinct buildings in Christchurch.

Located in the central business district, the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct will house all justice and emergency services in one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct.

Due for completion by mid 2017, the 40,000 square metre precinct is the largest multi-agency government co-location project in the history of New Zealand, and will be worked in or used by an estimated 2,000 people every day.

The precinct will bring a substantial workforce into the central city, stimulating earthquake recovery by supporting retail and commercial activity in the area. At the peak of construction, 400–500 people will be employed in Christchurch.
